The project shows the connection of the Divine Comedy world with the Dante's real life and times. The context makes the poet’s works more understandable and relevant today.
Ideas and solutions
The digital project tells about the biography and work of Dante Alighieri with the help of 13 characters of his Divine Comedy, with whom the medieval poet was familiar or indirectly connected in the real life. We also describe the place of each character in the Dante's afterworld. A reader can choose to look through the project in the Divine Comedy chronology or in the Dante's life chronology. He will see imaginary views of hell, purgatory and paradise, a map of the afterworld and much more.
