Task

In order to avoid depression and support the advertising community (colleagues, clients, competitors — everyone) in self-isolation, we decided to organize networking in a fun, interesting and safe way — the first online e-sports tournament for CS: GO for marketers. Goals: 1. Support colleagues from the advertising market - create a feeling of unity and solidarity; 2. Try a new format for networking events; 3. Increase agency brand awareness.

Ideas and solutions

Epidemic? Quarantine? Food shortage? The gamers didn't even notice it. We decided to take an example from them. In order to avoid depression and support the advertising community (colleagues, clients, competitors — everyone), we decided to organize networking in a fun, interesting and safe way — the first online e-sports tournament for CS: GO for marketers. The group stage was attended by 32 teams (8 groups of 4 teams each). Everyone played with everyone. Top 2 teams from each group advanced to the playoff. The playoff were held according to the Single Elimination system — a tournament system with elimination after the first defeat up to stage 1 \ 4 and up to 2 wins in the final. Each game was broadcast on the agency's official YouTube. Winner's reward ceremony.
