Task
Making purchasing electronic components in the ChipDip store app easier for large retail and bulk customers.
Ideas and solutions
An app for making quick purchases from the ChipDip electronic components store, complete with a full product catalogue, order history and delivery tracking, aimed at B2C and B2B sales. Live Typing presently supports and develops the project. We transferred the useful features the ChipDip website already had to the app, and added a few new ones as well. Components can now be added to the wishlist from the catalogue without opening the product description. Text-to-speech search helps find the required electronic part instantly, and the convenient tab bar on the bottom of the screen keeps navigation buttons close at hand. Several orders can be placed at once but paid for at different times with the help of the multi-cart. 90% of the customers order their products by delivery service instead of by courier. We implemented an easy-to-use delivery tracker: instead of providing the user with a track number, forcing them to browse for the shipment, we open the tracking screen within the app and show the user where their package is. As a result, we have a fully functional mobile alternative to an online store.
