Task
The sound of the project "iimpire", as well as the song "lyrics", is largely inspired by the sound of the modern hip-hop scene in Atlanta, with characteristic elastic and deep 808 drums and slightly dirty sound of beats in the style of "Slime". At the same time, the music of "iimpire" is notable for its presentation and flavor, with an emphasis on the dramatic component.
Ideas and solutions
"iimpire" is a solo project by Nikita Shkatov. The song "Lyrics" is made in hip-hop style, in collaboration with beatmaker "only1svolk". The idea was to create a minimalistic melodic trap with an emphasis on drum grooves, 808s and vocals. It was important that the track sounded and perceived easily and fresh (actual), but at the same time was not empty, so that it would affect the listener's emotions through performance, lyrics and a simple but memorable soul melody; as well as on the listener's body, due to the rhythm and moderately overloaded sound
