The young designer and artist Alexei Drozhdin creates extraordinary decorative glass objects. As a graduate of the Moscow State Art and Industry Academy named after S.G. Stroganov in 2018, the designer managed to take part in an exhibition at the Beijing Museum of Modern Art and became a finalist of the MilanoVetro-35 International Art Glass Competition in 2018 and 2020, which is held by the Sforza Castle Museum in Milan in collaboration with the famous collector Sandro Pezzoli. The winner's works became part of the museum's collection. Alexey became the winner of the RUSSIAN PROJECT 2019 award in the category of the best innovative project of the year from INTERIOR + DESIGN magazine. Alexey founded his own brand DROZHDINI and manually produces artwork from glass combined with wood and metal. The recognizable features of the author's style are asymmetry, "living" man-made forms, contrast of textures and materials, masterful work with glass. In August 2020, he opened his own gallery in the center of Moscow, which displays his work.
