Task
The Burger King app – the entire Burger King chain in your pocket. Burger King Russia aims at becoming the most favourable fast food restaurant in Russia. For 3.5 years we have been working together with the Burger King team to improve guests’ experience on their way to their favorite burgers by adding convenience to multiple areas including the restaurant's mobile app.
Ideas and solutions
We have improved the experience of those looking for Burger King at 1 AM and customers coming with their children through advanced restaurant search filtering: by opening hours, delivery options, breakfast, children's play area and other services availability. You can now make an order beforehand and choose to pick it up at the Burger King’s drive-thru. Some people don't like onions, while others are intolerant to lactose. Now burgers order process allows removing an ingredient without changing the price or adding one for additional price. Menu is structured and designed to allow customizable menu items and coupons so that guests could get their dishes with the desired ingredients. We launched the KING CLUB gamified loyalty program experience. After installing and using the Burger King app, the discounts are adjusted to the user’s personal preferences. The promotions are valid only the hours and days of the user's peak activity. Additionally, we have added bonuses and challenges to make the order even more interesting. We gave Burger King’s marketing team the ability to interact with the audience through the application. Now they can manage sections of the key screens by adding promotions and coupons, place both general and personalized pop-ups and stories and greet guests with the current bonuses balance right on the app’s launch screen. The application features a coupons section, allowing registered users to get a bonus card with points, which make it possible for restaurant’s guests to save significantly on combo orders. Ordering a delivery using Burger King app: choose the address, meals, payment and 30 minutes waiting until the food is delivered.
