Brand Identity
Task
Psycho is a team of engineers and developers who work on VR games and special VR equipment. The goal of the rebranding was to design an adaptive and user-friendly identity. Conceptually the main focus was on referring to the innovative technologies of the company.
Ideas and solutions
We created custom lettering for a logo. Each letter lacks a small triangle in the corners: these triangles are the forms VR technology is based on. The contrast of smooth and sharp elements are the basis for understanding the brand's character as a metaphor for something both virtual and real. The main elements of the website structure are lines and boxes with smooth corners referring to the logo. The monochrome solution for the site is also driven by the challenge of highlighting content and shifting the focus on product renders, which are quite distinctive on their own. Large typography and micro-animation on the site also make it more immersive and playful. The aim was to set a particular tone and mood for diving into the space of VR games
