Umatex Pilot Line ICS – UI&UI design Only
Task
UMATEX is the Russian leader in production and research and development in the field of carbon fiber and composite materials based on it. It is part of the state corporation Rosatom. As part of the modernization of the pilot line for producing carbon fiber, it became necessary to develop an interface design for a new automated control system.
Ideas and solutions
The development of the design required a complete immersion in the technological processes that can be customized from each screen of the ICS: at the entrance we received technical documentation and a list of controlled and displayed elements for each screen. The project lasted over a year and included several iterations. We participated in the launching of equipment and finalized the interface with Umatex engineers and developers of a system.
