AR.mos GENESIS DIGITAL
Task
The UNESCO World Heritage Committee has not yet worked out a unified position on which architectural monuments should be restored. It is believed that the reconstruction of palaces and temples based on archival materials may violate their symbolism. From here came the idea to create an application with which you can see the great architectural objects of the past without restoring them. The goal of this project is to immerse everyone in the atmosphere of bygone eras using augmented reality te
Ideas and solutions
As a starting point in the work of the application, they took Moscow - the capital of Russia with a long history and rich culture. Already now, two objects from the past are available for immersion: the Voskresenskui Bridge and The Church of Catherine of Alexandria. They were selected because they are not included in the list of objects to recover. We at GENESIS DIGITAL have combined modern technologies and historical accuracy - the Church turned out to be as reliable as possible, and the Voskresenskui Bridge is located in its historical place (below the current level of the earth's surface) with an imitation of life around it: https://yadi.sk/d/d0Bu7htlcpomfg?w=1 4 more objects are in active development, and in the feedback on the project website you can offer your options. Since Moscow is one of the most important world capitals with an active tourist destination, the application already works not only in Russian, but also in English and Chinese. We also plan to actively distribute the application in other countries with a rich history. You can download the application on Google Play and App store.
