Schizophrenia Олег Богучарский
Task
The idea of versatility, rough panorama and multidimensionality was taken as the basis for the sound of "schizophrenia" from the very first sounds of the arrangement and continued down to the smallest details of mixing. Due to the sharp contrasts of the super closeness of the low component and the most distant sounds, as if coming from the depths of the black hole, we managed to achieve the desired effect. The resulting sound tends to plunge the listener into a state of schizophrenia.
Ideas and solutions
This work is about how tired of living with someone else in your own head, this is a reflection on the themes of conventions, fears and internal conflicts. There are no verses or choruses in this song, but there are related parts, each of which reflects different aspects of the protagonist's personality. Like the voices of those talking inside the head, parts of the track have their own individual character. This arrangement, vocal production and mixing were done within the project of my group "TIHOTIHO", where I myself am a composer and keyboardist.
