Today Ekaterina Gaika is at the center of joint work of the creative industries of the capital and the authorities, heads the Agency for Creative Industries, and together with her team, thanks to her rich experience, contributes to the development of creative business and creative infrastructure of the city of Moscow. Katerina Gaika was previously the development director of the online magazine Moskvich (a new publication about all events in Moscow) and the general director of Baza.one, a recruiting agency for the search and selection of IT personnel and top management. Katya spent the previous five years working at the Skolkovo Foundation (the Russian equivalent of Silicon Valley), where she was responsible for investor relations, as well as for all special media and PR projects related to IT. Before Skolkovo, Ekaterina launched a new TV channel (Russkaya Zhizn) for AFK Sistema, one of the largest media holdings in Russia. Prior to her graduation from university in the United States, Ms. Gadget was a photojournalist and regularly collaborated with Vogue, Paris Match, Harper's Bazaar, GEO, Marie Clair and Elle and many others. After graduating with honors from Columbia University, Ms. Gaika has worked on media, finance and government projects for Booz Allen Hamilton (currently Booz & Co, a leading international consulting company) in New York, Dubai, Cairo and Moscow.
