Ivan studied at Moscow University of Printing (graduated in 2006), while working in several publishing houses as a designer of periodicals. After university, for 4 years he worked as a designer of the country's leading newspaper in the Kommersant publishing house. Designing multi-page publications (newspapers, magazines, books) - like creating a paper computer, a complex structured organism was Ivan's main research topic until the last years, until the periodical industry had exhausted itself. Over the past few years, Ivan, as a creative director, has been exploring the connection between content, signs of identity and user experience in design systems developed by the studio. He also oversees Identity and Branding at the British Higher School of Design. The portfolio includes projects for cultural institutions and the media (Strelka, Snob, Kommersant, Domashny), technology companies (Lamoda, Rostelecom, Yandex, Mailru, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki), sports brands (Adidas, Nike, World Chess), and the public sector (Government Moscow, Department of Culture, Ministry of Education and Science), social institutions (VDNH, Gorky Park, KidZania, Craft Park, British Higher School of Design, St. Tikhon Orthodox Theological Institute), corporate sector (EVRAZ, Energoprom, Samson Pharma, Caesar Satellite), financial organizations (Promsvyazbank, SB-Bank, BCS), International agencies (INDG, Saffron)
